Please read below to learn how your donation can help Volusia Recovery Alliance save lives and bring more Recovery to Volusia County. If you would like your donation to be received in honor or remembrance of a loved one, please place their name in the “write a note” option in the PayPal prompt. We have included instructions below. We will be creating a page to honor and remember those affected by SUD. We will contact donors to let them know when the page is live. Thank you so much for your support!
Are you one of the 1 in 3 who has been touched by Substance Use Disorder (SUD)? If so, you know how hard it is to find resources and support!
Volusia Recovery Alliance (VRA) would like to help you find resources and training.
Your support is greatly appreciated in assisting VRA as we launch our resource and training center and hire peer mentors.
Peer Mentors are people with lived experience with SUD, either as a person in recovery or a family member. A peer mentor uses their live experience and skills learned in training to help others achieve and maintain recovery and wellness from SUD. In Florida, these peers are identified as a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS).
VRA will provide training and support to future CRPS’s working on their Certification through the Florida Certification Board (FCB). VRA will provide advanced training to those already Certified by FCB.

To make a donation in honor or remembrance of your loved one, please click one of the PayPal Donate Buttons located at the top and bottom of this page. You will then be prompted to enter a donation amount and select your payment method. You may choose your PayPal account or choose to pay by debit/credit card. You will then be taken to a screen that will allow you to add information for payment. Beneath the donation amount, there is a section where you will have the option to “write a note”. Please place your loved one’s name in this note. We will notify donors by email once we have published an honor and remembrance page for our donor’s loved ones. Thank you again for your support!
